For all you know, I could have had the worst day ever, but I still set out to smile. If I were sad all the time, it’d be pretty boring, wouldn’t it?

If I had to define my mom & dad’s relationship it would be: Childish. They know just how to push each other’s buttons and aren’t afraid to go there. They like to make bets. And when the winner rubs it in the other’s face, they go all out. When they’re not on good terms, trying to talk about the other to them is like stepping into “No Man’s Land” but that’s okay, because when one smiles, I know all is good. They’re marriage wasn’t traditional and it may sound typical that they met at a party, but that’s hardly any matter. I know my parents, I know they’re in love, and I could not ask for more.

I’d really appreciate if you were more understanding, but if you’re just gonna be ignorant about it then that’s fine too.
